Intake reads a bill of materials and reports what the FILE states. It matches nothing against a supplier database: a part number reported as found means the file states it unambiguously, or that an operator confirmed it. It is never a verified identification.
Intake does not quote, source or order. Matching against supplier catalogues, quotation and procurement happen downstream, inside Adesio, from the part number Intake has made clean.
An advanced prototype, with no commitment on availability or retention. Do not drop a confidential bill of materials: treat what you send here as shared with Adesio.
Only drop files you are entitled to share. Do not try to reach another visitor’s reports, and do not automate load that would degrade the service for others.
To recognise a manufacturer’s canonical spelling, Intake draws on third-party reference data — a world manufacturer reference, component catalogues. We believe it to be correct, but we make no warranty as to its accuracy, completeness or currency, and whatever follows from it is marked as inferred in the report.
No line is looked up against a supplier database during an analysis. What the report shows comes from the file, from reference data marked as such, or from a person who confirmed it — and every conclusion carries the basis it was established on.
The service is provided as is. A file may be read incompletely or wrongly, and every conclusion in the report carries the basis it was established on precisely so that you can contest it. Purchasing decisions remain yours.
The data and results produced are intended for people with the technical knowledge to interpret and check them. It is for you to validate any information before a design, purchasing or procurement decision.
Adesio, its officers, partners, agents and employees expressly disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, as to the service, the reports it produces and every item, part number and result appearing in them — and likewise any warranty as to the quality, characteristics or availability of any third-party product or service.
To the extent permitted by law, Adesio shall not be liable for any damages, including special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages, arising from access to or use of the service, or from any inability to access or use it. By using Intake, you assume the risks of that use.
The contents of this site belong to Adesio. Manufacturer names and part numbers quoted belong to their respective holders and appear only to name what a file states.
